At the time writing this oil has
touched $123 per barrel and with this the food times have started to cost more
and more. It is the worldwide phenomena with the all the Global Warming talk
and water and food crisis looming very near and the entire world is now facing
the tough task of combating inflation – except perhaps the OPECs. But it is
surprising that Mr. George Bush is squarely blaming India and China for the
current crisis because the heavy demands from these two countries. Does this
mean the demand in the US
for Oil has drastically reduced? The US government seems to be saying
yeas they use bio fuel. I do not know the facts nor anybody else in the world
so Mr. Bush why can’t you publish a white paper on the bio fuel and oil
consumption in the US
so that the whole world will come to know the real facts.
At the same time this theory of
heavy demand from India
and China
is very easy to make because the overflowing population there. It is time that
these two countries very seriously involved in population control methods.
Indian villagers need to be educated on the population explosion theory much
more deeply.
I fully agree with you - it is the failure of the US to keep the recessaio at bay that makes Bush say all these gibberish. But at the same we also have to do some introspection whether we are misusing oil
